Peruvian Pottery

One of twenty-five selected specimens of pre-Columbian Peruvian polychrome pottery from the Museum of Anthropology in Lima, Julio C. Tello, Director. Double spouted water jar made of clay pottery with images of figures with staffs around the base and wheat(?) at the top. Two spouts with a cross beam at the top. Presented to FDR by His Excellency Manuel Prado, President of the Republic of Peru, on the occasion of his visit to the United States in 1942. FDR Library Museum Collection, MO 1942.348.75.
