In the book Rerum Hamburgensium from 1661, written by the historian and librarian Peter Lambeck (1628-1680), we find the oldest preserved picture of the cenotaph for Benedict V in St. Mary's Cathedral in Hamburg, which was apparently already damaged at that time.
