The largest and best preserved example of prehistoric rock art in New Jersey found to date, this petroglyph was found in October of 1965 on the Delaware River property of Mr. Rudyard Jennings after a drought exposed its once submerged river beach location in Walpack Township, Sussex County, New Jersey (USA). The meaning of the imagery has been lost over time, but various archaeologists have attributed spiritual, astronomical and/or agricultural contexts to the pictograms.
