Petticoat in dark green silk damask. Made from 5 widths of silk damask each 21 inches wide. Narrow worsted braid along the lower edge and a black strip of linen along the top. The braid along the lower edge is original. The design of the silk takes up the full width of the damask. Large flowers and fruit are connected by a thick stem. Technique: Damask, satin of 8, Decoupure of 12.
