    (...) Mala just as Edek decided not to allow the SS men to carry out their sentence as planned. When she was already on the gallows, while the sentence was being read out, she cut her viens with a razorblade, which she had prepared earlier. But, similarly to Edek, she was not allowed to die in this manner. SS-man Taube lurched towards her, who she slapped with bloodied hands. The infuriated SS-men stomped her nearly to death in front of the entire Women’s Camp. The sentence was carried out, but not according to the regulations. She died on a small cart that was being pushed by female prisoners on the road to the crematorium One of them was the previously mentioned little Slovak.
