Philodendron danteanum

Native from Venezuela, the giant climbing philodendron is a climbing or crawling shrub that might reach up to 6 meters long. Its huge leaves of up to 90 centimeters of length are thick, resistant, undulating, with long leafstalks and crenated edges. It is a good option for partially shaded gardens, whether for upper lining or for covering tree trunks. They reproduce themselves through stem division or seeds – but in this last case, the seed needs to be removed from the fruit in order to germinate, for it contains substances inhibiting germination.
