This image of Ida B Wells Barnett appeared in IDA: (1862-1931), African American journalist, speaker, and activist who owned a Owner of a newspaper that was burned out, Wells Barnett waged a powerful anti-lynching campaign in the late nineteenth century. Wells Barnett was a regular overnight guest at the Anthony home on Madison Street when she was in Rochester, NY.
