Katharine "Kit" Houghton Hepburn (1878-1951) served as president of the Connecticut Woman Suffrage Association from 1910-1911 and 1913-1917. From 1917-1920, Hepburn worked with Alice Paul and the National Woman's Party. The second of her six children was screen actress Katharine "Kate" Hepburn. (National Susan B Anthony Museum & House Collection, received as a gift from Carrie Chapman Catt in 1947.)
