Color photograph of a group of children at the Migrant and Seasonal Farmworkers Training Center in Rich Square, North Carolina. The Center was established to provide training and support to temporary agricultural workers in northeastern North Carolina, to allow the workers an opportunity to learn a new trade that could provide full-time and consistent employment (such as welding or construction). The Center would provide a stipend during the program and even provide child care service so that adult workers could dedicate themselves to the training. The children pictured here are children of participants in the Center's training program.
