Angelica Palma Roman (Lima, 1878-Rosario, 1935) was a Peruvian writer and journalist, the eldest daughter of the writer Ricardo Palma. She published for national and international newspapers and magazines, becoming a recognized writer. She also published novels and short stories, and edited several titles for his father. She represented Peru at the 1926 Inter-American Congress of Women in Panama, and was part of a group of intellectuals interested in bringing together Spanish and American cultures. She defended the incursion of women in areas in which they did not participate before.
