In the background, there is Classicist appearance of Hotel Weimar, on the right side, there is building of Central Baths after rebuilding in 1892 and on the right edge there is the complex of Nové Lázně before the reconstruction, which began in 1894. J. F. Langhans was Czech portrait photographer, he owned ateliers in Prague, Pilsen and Mariánské Lázně. Langhans was very innovative in his work and in the concept of advertising and graphic design. He had a significant company car, which was also used as a mobile advertising panel. He made utility items and postcards. He was also one of the first photographer who used electric lighting.
