Black and white group portrait of twelve men seated and standing in two rows, wearing cricket whites, some with caps bearing the VCA emblem, and two men wearing white broader rimmed hats. The men are positioned in front of a brick building, with the lower left hand corner of the photograph obscured during the photographic process. The ink inscription on the off-white cardboard mount reads VIC V S.A. MELB JAN 1919 , with the players named. The mount board has been cut from a photograph showing a cattle-yard scene, which is partly visible on the reverse.
