Zoila Aurora Cáceres Moreno (Lima, 1877 - Madrid, 1958) was a Peruvian writer and journalist, social activist and one of the forerunners of the women's suffrage movement in Peru. She founded feminist political organizations, as well as supported the women's movement. She wrote in newspapers and magazines, becoming a renowned chronicler. She also published several titles, among which are "Women of yesterday and today", "The city of the Sun", "The princess Suma Tica" and "La Campaña de la Breña. Memories of the marshal of Peru ”, among others. In Paris, she founded the Literary Union of Latin Countries. The National Library of Peru currently preserves part of her collection of letters, records of its political participation, newspaper clippings and various drafts of the writer.
