Through the years, dress-up play has remained an enduring form of imaginative play for a many children. Whether they attire themselves to resemble their parents, familiar professionals such as doctors and firefighters, superheroes or other characters, or just in silly costumes, dress up allows kids to imagine themselves in a wide variety of roles.
