Photograph of the 1923 Victorian cricket team standing in front of the scoreboard at the Melbourne Cricket Ground. The photograph is mounted on grey card, which is printed on each side with scorecards from a fixture between Victoria and Tasmania played at the MCG in February 1923. Above the photograph is printed the title, "WORLD'S RECORD SCORES IN FIRST CLASS CRICKET". The cricketers shown in the photograph are all wearing whites, two with pads and bats. The scoreboard bears the final score of the match, in which Victoria made a first innings total of 1059.
