In 1907, the employees of the Gundlach Company of Rochester posed for a group photograph during a company picnic. Gundlach, located on State Street in Rochester, manufactured cameras and optical equipment. They held their picnic at Rifle Range Park, a private park behind Seneca Park near Lake Ontario in Rochester. Private parks such as this often rented space for events such as employee outings. This photograph comes from a Rochester family; one member worked at Gundlach.
