Photographic lobby still for the Hindi film 'Ab Dilli Dur Nahin' (translation : The Destination Is Not Too Far- check), released in the year 1957.
The card shows pickpocket Ghasita (possibly Lala Yaqoob/ unidentified actor) sitting on a charpai, surrounded by lots of children. He is sitting with one hand held out, captured in a talking gesture, while all the children sit and stand around him, looking at him attentively. One small girl is sitting right next to him, with her arms clasped around his neck. It appears as if Ghasita is reciting a story to the children. The card was possibly made to illustrate an important element of his character, i.e., his affection and kindness towards children. This trati later drives an important plot point in the movie when he decides to help Rattan (Master Romi) get justice for his father.
On the card's bottom left is a logogram of the Parliament with text reading 'RAJ KAPOOR'S' and 'Ab Dilli Dur Nahin' (Devnagri) under it. Below it reads 'DIRECTION' and AMAR KUMAR' under. RK Films' company logo is printed on the bottom right.
