Photographic lobby still for the Hindi film 'Ab Dilli Dur Nahin' (translation: The Destination Is Not Too Far), released in the year 1957.
The card depicts the point in the movie where the street kids bring Rattan (Master Romi) to their shelter after a vainful attempt to meet 'Pandit G' (Jawahar Lal Nehru), and 'Shanu didi' (unidentified actress), their care-taker and guardian, initially refuses to take him in/expresses displeasure about having one more person to take care of. In the frame, Rattan is standing at the door with one hand in his bag (extreme right), the kids are huddled together looking at Rattan in the middle of the frame and 'Shanu didi' is standing on the extreme left, pointing a finger at Rattan in enquiry. On the card's bottom left is a logogram of the Parliament with text reading 'RAJ KAPOOR'S' and 'Ab Dilli Dur Nahin' (Devnagri) under it. Below it reads 'DIRECTION' and AMAR KUMAR' under. RK Films' company logo is printed on the bottom right.
This frame summarises the context of Rattan's arrival and Shanu's displeasure about having one more person to take care of.
