Photographic lobby still for the Hindi film 'Ab Dilli Dur Nahin' (translation: The Destination Is Not Too Far), released in the year 1957.
The card depicts one of the important plot points from the movie where the lead character Hariram's (Motilal) wife Bela (Sulochana Latkar) is bitten by a snake. The frame shows the setting of their sleeping room where Hariram is holding Bela close and standing on one side of the room along with their son Rattan (Master Romi)(sitting on a bed), staring in horror at the snake on the bed next to them. On the card's bottom left is a logogram of the Parliament with text reading 'RAJ KAPOOR'S' and 'Ab Dilli Dur Nahin' (Devnagri) under it. Below it reads 'DIRECTION' and AMAR KUMAR' under. RK Films' company logo is printed on the bottom right. Interestingly, the frame depicted on the card is not present in the movie and may have been orchestrated completely for the purpose of the lobby card.
