Photographic lobby still for the Hindi film 'Boot Polish', released in the year 1954.

The still is an up-close, quarter profile portrait of the character 'John Chacha (Uncle)', played by actor David Abraham. He is dressed in an overcoat and a hat and is carrying a glass bottle (alcohol) in his hand. The portrait shows one of his looks from the movie, from a point where he goes out to sell illegally produced alcohol (his business) to a stranger.

On the bottom border of the image is centrally placed text and a logogram for the movie. Starting from left to right, there is a silhouette of a boy and a girl, possibly representing the lead brother-sister duo, 'Bhola' (Rattan Kumar) and 'Belu' (Kumari Naaz). Next to the logogram is text reading 'RAJ KAPOOR'S' (Producer) and the film's name 'Boot Polish' (script: English) under it.
