Photographic lobby still for the Hindi film 'Boot Polish', released in the year 1954.
The still shows Belu (Kumari Naaz), Bhola (Rattan Kumar) and John Chacha (David Abraham) sharing a meal together as John Chacha brings them home after being beaten up by their aunt. While he feeds the children, he gives them an important lesson on choosing work over begging for money. In the frame, Belu is on the extreme left, next to her is Bhola who is holding food in both his hands. Left hand is held out towards John Chacha and the other one towards Belu. John Chacha is on the extreme left, facing both Bhola and Belu, holding food in his right hand and the crutch under his left arm.
On the bottom border of the image is centrally placed text and a logogram for the movie. Starting from left to right, there is a silhouette of a boy and a girl, possibly representing the lead brother-sister duo, 'Bhola' (Rattan Kumar) and 'Belu' (Kumari Naaz). Next to the logogram is text reading 'RAJ KAPOOR'S' (Producer) and the film's name 'Boot Polish' (script: English) under it.
