The still shows a scene from the character Balraj's (Rajan Haksar) house, featuring himself, his three children, wife and his father. In the frame, the two grandsons, Rakesh (Master Rakesh) and Dinesh (Master Raja) are sitting at the dining table, towards the left of the frame. Rakesh is looking at their mother (Nadira) standing towards the extreme right of the frame in the foreground while Dinesh is looking at his grandfather. In the background, Balraj is sitting at one end of the dining table, also looking at his wife.
Next to him, to his left, his father (unidentified) is standing, holding his right hand up in a way of conveying something, also looking at Nadira. Balraj's daughter Meena is sitting towards the right side of the frame, with both her elbows resting on the table. She is looking in the direction of her father, to her right. Nadira, as previously mentioned is standing on the extreme right of the frame in the foreground and has been
photographed from the backside. On the bottom of the still is text reading 'filmistan's', next line; 'HUM KAHAN JA RAHE HAIN' (English).
