Photographic lobby still for the Hindi film 'Jagte Raho' (translation: Stay Awake), released in the year 1956.

The still shows the last frame of the film from the song 'Jaago Mohan Pyaare' (Hail Dear Son-check) sung by Lata Mangeshkar, where the villager (Raj Kapoor) finally finds water served by a maiden (Nargis) to quench his thirst at a temple. It is a symbolic representation of finding hope for one's truth. In the frame, the background set up is that of the temple with the sun rising in the background. In the foreground, the villager is sitting on the ground in profile view, with his both his hands held out and joined together to contain water. The maiden is standing on the right in profile view, tilting a metal pot downwards to pour water. On the bottom border, towards the left, is a composition of illustration and text. Starting from the left is a silhouette of a man (possibly Raj Kapoor's character of the villager), next to this is 'Raj Kapoor's', overlapping with the name of the movie 'JAGTE RAHO' (English).

Right under the movie's name is 'Written and Directed by-' followed by 'SOMBHU MITRA . AMIT MAITRA'. The text is followed by an illustration of a street lamp and a builiding. Towards the bottom right corner is the logo of the production company R.K. Films.
