Photographic lobby still for the Hindi film 'Jagte Raho' (translation: Stay Awake), released in the year 1956.

The still shows two characters, the villager (Raj Kapoor) and Sati's (Smriti Biswas) boyfriend (Pradeep), hiding under a bed when the self-formed resident's search party barges into Sati's house in the hope of finding the thief. In the frame, the boyfriend is towards the left, laying under the bed, with clasped hands, looking sideways, tilting his head as if trying to hear the conversation of the other residents. The villager is to the right, with a scared expression on his face, also looking sideways. On the bottom border, towards the left, is a composition of illustration and text. Starting from the left is a silhouette of a man (possibly Raj Kapoor's character of the villager), next to this is 'Raj Kapoor's', overlapping with the name of the movie 'JAGTE RAHO' (English). Right under the movie's name is 'Written and Directed by-' followed by 'SOMBHU MITRA . AMIT MAITRA'. The text is followed by an illustration of a street lamp and a builiding. Towards the bottom right corner is the logo of the production company R.K. Films.
