Photographic lobby still for the Hindi film 'Pyar Ki Baaten' (Tales/conversations of love), released in the year 1951.
The still shows a wide-angle shot of an elaborate magic show held in the court of King Ameer-e-Nakhlistaan's (undentified actor) palace. In the frame, the King and his aids are sitting towards the extreme right of the frame. To their left, a group of women (possibly part of the King's harem) are spread on stairs. In the centre of the frame is the magician, standing with both his hands held high up in the air. To his left are his helpers/aids, dressed in dramatic costumes including a horn headgear and a cape.. Among them, three are standing with their hands held high, two are sitting on their knees right ahead of them. Another male helper is standing with a hunter in his hand adn four others are laying on the support of their hands next to him. The king's guards are spread around farther in the background.
On the bottom of the frame, there are credits for the film. Starting from left to right, first comes 'NARGIS ART CONCERN presents', next line; 'NARGIS', next line; 'TRILOK KAPOOR', next line; '&', next line; 'NEELAM'. Aligned with 'TRILOK KAPOOR' , to its right is 'IN' followed by 'PYAR KI BAATEN' and the name in Devanagari right under the English title. Next to the name is 'Directed by', next line; 'AKHTAR HUSAIN', next line; 'Production by', next line; 'ANWAR HUSAIN'.
