Photographic lobby still for the Hindi film 'Shree 420' (translation: Mr. 420), released in the year 1955.

The still shows a frame from the iconic song 'Ichak Dana Beechak Dana', (check translation )sung by Lata Mangeshkar and Mukesh. The frame shows the setting of lead character Vidya's (Nargis) 'chawl' (a type of housing settlement), where she is teaching the kids Hindi alphabets through a song. In the frame, there is a group of kids in the foreground, all looking at their teacher Vidya with their backs facing the camera. There is a tree on the extreme left side, Vidya is standing in the centre of the frame, wearing a sari. There is a blackboard right behind her on which Hindi alphabets are written. Vidya is faing the kids with one hand pointing at them and the other pointing at the blackboard. The physical building and some other residents fill up the rest of the frame.

On the bottom border are the credits for the film. First comes the film's name in an interesting composition. Aligned to the bottom left corner is '420' in a big bold typeface wich overlaps with the printed area of the image. The word 'SHREE' is written within the number '4'. There is an illustration of two human figures (possibly Nargis' character Vidya and Raj Kapoor's character Ranbir Raj) placed within the number '2'. Under this is 'DIRECTED BY' with 'RAJ KAPOOR' written next to it.
