Postman Cheval's Ideal Palace

Ferdinand Cheval poses with his trowel on top of his Hindu temple. His famously faithful wheelbarrow is hidden in an alcove at the foot of the giants. The three giants, Caesar, Vercingétorix, and Archimedes, complete the facade. It was written in 1899 that Ferdinand Cheval spent 20 years working on this eastern side.
