Print from the Van Berkhey Collection belonging to the MNCN archive.
Phyllium regina is a species formally described in 2019, thanks to a female specimen collected in 1896 in Indonesia and preserved at the MNCN. The only known example of this species, now the holotype, is illustrated in this beautiful print, sketched and engraved by the German naturalist Rösel von Rosenhof. It belongs to the MNCN's Van Berkhey Collection.
