Piano action model

The piano action model ‘C 225’ was donated by the piano manufacturer Érard & Co. to the Stuttgart-based piano manufacturer Pfeiffer and became part of its model collection. It features a repetition mechanism “double échappement” that allows the same note to be played repeatedly in quick succession. This type of action is the basis for today's standard concert grand pianos.
