The owner had bought this pidha recently from a larger collection of vernacular furniture pieces. The backrest of this pidha was ornamented with shallow but intricate carvings and fretwork. On each of the sides of vertical wooden members of the backrest, figures of horseheads were carved. The legs were turned and carved with similar motifs as on the backrest.
