Pier and Pavilion, Eastbourne

Black and white postcard showing the entrance to Eastbourne Pier with the new Music Pavilion at the shore end of the pier, and the Pier Theatre at the seaward end. Originally constructed for concerts, the Music Pavilion later became a ballroom and an amusement arcade. In July 2014 the Music Pavilion was gutted by fire leaving only a metal shell. The theatre, however, was not damaged by the fire.
