Pilgrimage

This artwork started out from talks and discussions on the meaning of religion. Specifically, what is the meaning of religion for us now? Our point of view (as a created being) on how we perceive God (as the creator) is also formed by religion. Finally, we come to the deeper fundamental question: who and what God really is. Through the journey of life, we sense how our (human) relationship with God starts to shift into a more personal and intimate territory, stepping out of the context of religion. The only thing left that exists is us (human being) and God (the creator).
