Bowl of a pipe made from sepiolite and presumed to date from the 19th century. It was the most popular kind of smoking utensil in the Modern Era and was typically very fragile, so it is frequently found in port areas. It is decorated on both sides. One side shows a ship, enabling it to be dated to the 19th century. The opposite side has plant motifs.
