"Pitagora" coffee machine

The object originated from the production of Le Cimbali Giuseppe and won the Compasso d'Oro in 1962. A new material was used in this specific field for the upholstery, stainless steel. The coffee machine is unprecedented both for its production methodology and for the total recessing of the worktop and cup tray in continuity with the bodywork. While still presenting formalistic details, this is therefore a remarkable achievement, especially considering the responsibility of designing a product for collective consumption.
