Hall Leys Park in Matlock, Derbyshire, was opened in 1911 and remains a popular local attraction. Situated on the bank of the river Derwent, the land was purchased by Matlock Urban District Council in 1908. This design by John Nuttall has a footprint and layout which is recognisable today, including some features, such as the bandstand, which still remain.
