Plantcloud

Bas is a family project, founded by mother and daughter Alicia and Xènia Bas, which combines the know-how of artisan ceramics with the precise lines of contemporary design. The Barcelona-based company was chosen for its Plantcloud, "The flight of the hanging plant". It is a hanging pot specially designed for interiors, conceived according to the principles contained in its motto: "Give plants the value they have. Welcome them to a dignified space. Invite them to live in harmony in our home". "Raising the plant from the ground and placing it at eye level makes it the protagonist of our space, and in moments of peace we can contemplate its beauty and feel the tranquillity of nature", was the intention of the artist Xènia Bas. The ceramic work includes a system of magnets and materials such as cork or vegetable leather. Bas won the prize for the best craft brand in 2016, awarded by the Generalitat of Catalonia.
