Sanxingdui Museum
Guanghan, China

This is one of the strangest objects found at the Sanxingdui site. The overall shape looks like a human torso and legs. The body is decorated with two abstracted bird patterns. This object was likely part of the bird-worship ceremonies of the Shu Kingdom, but its exact significance and purpose are unclear.
