A large lonesome clove branch has been painted onto the centre of this low, French-style plate, edge decorated with a brown stripe and three green embossed caterpillar elements, small branches of flowers painted between them.

Produced by Carl Christian Fick's faience factory (Revalische Vagance-Porcelain Fabrick) that operated in Tallinn from 1772 to 1782.
