The plate has a straight rim, shallow bowl and ring foot. The white paste body is overlaid with white slip painted in cobalt blue and turquoise under transparent glaze. The rim is encircled by a narrow meander border. In the centre, set in double blue rings, is a diaper design of peleng motifs consisting of çintemani spots and flickering stripes. This pattern is repeated on the cavetto and the underside. Apart from two concentric rings the base is undecorated.
