With a norrow flattened rim, and raised unglazed edge, sloping foot ring, unglazed on the bottom and fired a pale ochre, the base with a dark chocolate brown dressing. Painted in shades of greyish cobalt blue, with a classic scroll on the rim inside pairs of concentric rings, eight flowers with oval hatched centres and pointed hatched leaves on an undulating stem, with hooked leaves rising above and below the pairs of double rings framing the cavetto, and at the centre a ring od scalloped, hatched half-leaves inside two more pairs of rings, with a large lotus flower with hatched, scalloped petals surrounded by large, fleshy pointed leaves.Reference: Carswell, J., Chinese Ceramics in the Sadberk Hanım Museum, Sadberk Hanım Museum Publication, İstanbul, 1995, pp. 50,111.
