Maria Foote (1797?-1867) was a well-known actress who married Charles Stanhope, 4th Earl of Harrington in 1831 and became the Countess of Harrington. She appeared with the Butler company in 1825 at the Richmond Theatre. Here she is billed as Rosamund in As You Like it and Clara in the farce Matrimony. She was particularly known for her musical ability and is advertised as performing songs in both plays.
