Playbill for performances in the Theatre Royal

During August 1943, a curtained stage was set up in the newly rediscovered theatre and a series of amateur productions were presented in celebration of the 850th Anniversary of one of Richmond’s Charters. This poster, in the style of a Georgian playbill, advertises the ‘last night’ of these performances.
