Playbill for The Merchant of Venice

Playbill for Friday October 9th 1818 for performances of Shakespeare’s The Merchant of Venice and a “musical entertainment” Of Age Tomorrow. Playbills gave the prices for different seats and the Butler company charged 3 shillings for seats in a box, 2 shillings for the pit and 1 shilling for the gallery.
