Playgrounds Two and Three, Part of Alexandra Road Park, Camden

Children's playgrounds Two and Three in Alexandra Road Park - a modernist park in Camden, north London, which opened in 1979. The 1.7 hectare park sits within the Alexandra and Ainsworth estate designed by architect Neave Brown of Camden Architects’ Department. The planting and playground areas were designed by renowned landscape architect Janet Jack (1934 – 2016). Janet took this photograph after the projects completion. The park has since been regenerated and reopened in 2015.
