  • Physical Description: This is a geographic style map on paper, issued by the East London Railway. It shows all the Underground railway lines in the Central London area, as well as the Great Eastern, South Eastern and Brighton Railways which have been overprinted in black. The route of the East London Railway has been marked by a thick red line, with the company name printed alongside it. The Metropolitan Railway is shown as a thinner red line, the District Railway is marked in green, and other Underground lines are grey. All stations are marked with circles and interchanges are shown by white line interconnectors. The two main line interchanges at New Cross Station have been drawn as ovals. There are text boxes at the end of each line to show the destination of the Railway beyond the area covered by this map. The River Thames has been printed in grey on this map, and roads are included in the area around the East London Railway line. There are no extensions shown on this map, and the line between Paddington and Kilburn Park is not yet open. The map title is in the bottom left hand corner, as well as the reference key, the reverse of this map is blank.
