Removal of a door frame revealed part of a historic Chinese poem that was left incomplete. Ink brush calligraphy was used on the redwood walls, outlining where the Chinese characters would be carved. Also visible are two layers of paint used to cover up the poem. (Detention Barracks, room 105)
