Wang Wenfang was born in 1938 in Zhaoyuan, Shandong Province. He graduated from Central Academy of Fine Arts in 1962. He is a member of China Artists Association and national first-class artist. He is currently a full-time painter of Beijing Academy of Painting. He has held exhibitions in Japan, the Philippines and Beijing. In the spring and summer of 1995, he visited Japan and the Philippines successively. In the same year, he was included in the World Celebrity List of Cambridge, England, and the World Excellent Persons List of the United States. His works have participated in exhibitions at home and abroad for many times. He has won the first and second prizes and excellent prizes for creation in Beijing. In 1986, he won the excellent prize of "Modern Ink Painting Exhibition" in Japan. In 1988, a solo exhibition was held in the Chinese Art Museum. Five of his works were collected by the Chinese Art Museum. The representative works include Silence of the Moon, Blue Cloud Dropping and so on.
