Poisoning of Queen Bona

Poisoning Queen Bona at Bari in Italy, by Her Doctor Antonio di Matera. The murder was ordered by Philip II of Habsburg, who, after the queen's death, seized her hereditary principality of Bari. The witnesses to the scene are Maryna, called Mniszka, leaning out from behind the back of the manor's armchair, and two men watching the event from behind the curtain.
