Among the highlights of the entire Museum, you can admire the rare mobile still from the mid-19th century, originally used by GioBatta Poli, the founder of the Poli Distillerie. A brilliant and tireless entrepreneur, he was already running an osteria when he decided to buy grape marc from the wineries as well and to equip himself with a mobile still to distill it: from innkeeper he thus became a Grappa maker. Sometime later, the ambulant distillation was abolished for fiscal reasons and in 1898 Giobatta installed a permanent still, but the mobile alembic can still be found at Poli Grappa Museum in perfect condition.
