Police summons issued to the suffragette Janie Terrero. The summons, dated 1st March 1912, requires Janie to attend Bow Street Court to answer the charge of wilful damage. Issued at the time of her arrest the summons relates to an offence of window smashing for which Janie Terrero was subsequently sentenced to 4 months in Holloway jail. During her imprisonment she went on hunger strike twice and was forcibly fed until released a few days before the end of her sentence.
